Jacqueline Tribou

Jacqueline Tribou is a Connecticut-based painter. She creates original oil paintings inspired by her observations of the world around her. Working from her own photographs and from life, she paints figures, coastal scenes, and landscapes. Her work focuses on light and atmosphere, capturing not just what a place looked like, but how it felt in the moment. Through expressive color and loose brushwork, she aims to evoke the feeling of a quiet, nostalgic memory.

Prior to returning to painting, Jacqueline spent over 15 years working in art direction and graphic design, which continues to shape her sense of composition and color. She studied at Pratt Institute, where she earned a BFA in Communication Design.
